Last Friday we went out with some good friends to see the Turkish symphony. It was a great time. The school was given some free tickets and we jumped at the opportunity to see something interesting. It was a partnership between some Korean orchestra members, who all played traditional Korean instruments. The conductor was a Korean man, who led the symphony through several cool Korean songs, and then some Turkish ones. It was a great night.
Unfortunately we didn't have our camera, but our friends were nice enough to send some pictures they got of the Korean artists playing their instruments.
This lady was tiny but had a giant voice.
This lady had a strange instrument and awesome dress.
I think this guy was just tuning his instrument for a half hour.
